Our approach

“We believe healing happens when the whole person is welcomed. Your mind, body, identity, history, and nervous system are all connected. Each plays an important role in your healing.”

Our approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and especially supportive during times of change. Many people come to therapy when they’re going through transitions, such as identity shifts, relationship changes, pregnancy or postpartum experiences, or moments when old coping strategies no longer feel helpful. Instead of focusing only on managing symptoms, we work to create safety, understanding, and deeper integration so real long last change can actually happen.

We offer evidence-based trauma therapies alongside creative and holistic approaches, which may be incorporated when they feel supportive and aligned for you. Art therapy and body-based practices can be especially helpful for accessing emotions, memories, and parts of the self that may be difficult to reach through talk therapy alone. These approaches are often useful for individuals living with complex trauma, dissociation, or chronic stress, but your treatment is always collaborative and guided by your comfort, needs, and preferences.

Our work is affirming and non-judgmental. We honor diverse identities, bodies, relationships, and ways of being, including LGBTQIA+, gender-affirming care, as well as prenatal and postpartum support. Our therapy style is collaborative and paced with care, always grounded in respect for your autonomy and unique lived experience.

We see healing as a process of calming the nervous system, integrating different parts of the self, and reclaiming a sense of agency. Our role is not to tell you who to become, but to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels safe, meaningful, and supportive.

Meet Jillian Martino, LCAT

Many of the people I work with are navigating meaningful life transitions such as changes in relationships, identity, family roles, or healing from past experiences that continue to shape their current lives. These moments can feel overwhelming, but they can also become powerful opportunities for growth and self-discovery.

As an art therapist trained in various trauma approaches, I integrate creativity and trauma therapy to help clients process experiences that can feel difficult to put into words. My goal is to meet you where you are and support you in building self-understanding, healthier boundaries, and a stronger sense of self as you move into the next chapter of your life.
